Founded in 2017 by biologist and esthetician Carmen Tellez in Laredo, TX, we’ve spent the last six years creating results-driven skincare and relaxing, personalized treatments. Whether you're dealing with specific skin concerns or just need a moment to unwind, we’ve got you covered.

Carmen R Whizin
Biologist
Licensed Esthetician
Carmen graduated from TAMIU in 2018 with a Biology degree, and research on invasive plant species along the Rio Grande River. Carmen knew she wanted to take her business to the next level by becoming more knowledgeable in the skin care industry by attending Esthetiolgy training at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute of San Antonio. After finishing esthetics training and licensing, along with a combined effort of artisan markets and online sales she was able to expand and launch new products. She feels an immense calling to help others to fall in love with their skin by addressing one’s specific skin concerns by finding a realistic skin routine and realistic results. This allowed Carmen to open Dewy Skin Spa in downtown San Antonio as well as launch Dewy’s first ever scaleable product “Regenerating Reishi & Rose Gel Cleanser!”
Angelica Cortez

Hi! I’m Angelica, your friendly neighborhood aesthetician and horror movie fanatic. I’m all about good vibes, great skin, and making sure you feel right at home when you’re here at Dewy Spa. My passion? People! I love getting to know my clients and creating an environment where you feel totally welcome and safe, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. My goal is simple: I want you to leave with a glowing face and a big smile! Whether we’re chatting about your skincare needs or geeking out over the latest horror flick, I’m here to make your experience one you’ll enjoy as much as the results.
Massage Therapist
Xylia is a San Antonio based sanadora and massage therapist, she has been practicing for ten years and specializes in fascia work. She is trained in therapeutic and deep tissue massage, trigger point, basic foot reflexology, and craniosacral therapy; as well as The Emotion Code (energy work), and qi gong. She is a certified nutrition and wellness consultant and Fascia Floss™️ Instructor.
Her style is firm with flow, medium to firm pressure, broad, and relaxing strokes, with attention to areas of concern, and somatic techniques to address the nervous system for a more holistic experience. Perfect for your month to month self- care maintenance, her sessions will have you feeling lighter, relaxed, and rejuvenated.
Xylia Garcia
Noe graduated from San Antonio College in 2020 with a degree in Communication Design. Following his graduation, he dedicated himself to delivering exceptional representation and communication for the companies he served. After four years as a personal assistant, Noe transitioned into the spa industry, where he now collaborates with Carmen to ensure that every Dewy Skin Spa client receives outstanding care and service.
